Our 9 frame Hive IQ single hives consist of a Beehive base, full depth hive body, queen excluder, 9 frames with wax foundation, a mated Top End Bees queen and plenty of bees. We use Australian company Hive IQ EPS insulated hives that have more than 6 times the insulation value of standard wooden bee hives. This matters, as the better the insulation the less energy (honey) is required for the bees to use to maintain the hives correct temperature.
